1. Definitions

“Extension” means the Pimster add-on that accesses Google Merchant Center via the Content API for Shopping. “Client” means the legal entity activating the Extension.

2. Purpose

These Terms govern the Client’s use of the Extension. They supplement — and do not replace — the Pimster Admin CGU.

3. Activation & Scope of Access

The Client authorises Pimster to access the Merchant Center account selected through OAuth 2.0 with scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/content.
Pimster will import only product-catalog resources; no personal data is requested or stored.

4. Client Obligations

Maintain valid Google Merchant Center credentials.
Ensure catalogue content complies with Google Merchant Policies and all applicable laws.
Promptly disconnect the Extension if the Client no longer has the right to process the catalogue data.

5. Prohibited Conduct

The Client shall not:

merge Google-origin catalogue data with any personal data held by the Client,
use catalogue data for advertising, retargeting or profiling,
circumvent Google’s default quota of 10 000 API calls per day per Merchant ID.

6. Security

Pimster stores OAuth tokens encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and restricts access to hardware-backed service accounts. Tokens rotate every 90 days or upon revocation by Google.

7. Suspension & Termination

Pimster may suspend the Extension without notice if use threatens system security or breaches these Terms.
Either party may terminate this agreement on 15 days’ notice if Google sunsets or materially changes the Content API for Shopping.

8. Liability

Neither party shall be liable for indirect damages. Pimster’s aggregate liability under these Terms shall not exceed the fees paid by the Client for the Extension in the previous 12 months.

9. Audit Rights

Google (or its designee) may audit the Extension on 14 days’ notice. The Client agrees to cooperate with such audit at its own cost.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law. Exclusive jurisdiction lies with the Paris Commercial Court.

11. Acceptance

By clicking “Activate” within the Pimster admin interface you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these Terms and the following Google policies, incorporated by reference:
